That means that I have a plan and eventual financial security in the future, but also means in 5 months I’m going to have to slow down again to juggle school with modding. So with that, the last major concern is handled.įinally, I got into my doctoral program.

MLD will now be playable with class mod patches and such, rather than forcing you to disable all other mods due to sheer size, and I no longer have to cut the flashbacks from it for being too big. A lot of mods were pushing the boundaries too far, and now they’re all playable. DD modding is safe, and frankly, that means more than anything I’ve done in the past. After that I’ll mod DD2 and Slay the Spire as well as maintain all my DD1 mods and add translations as they get done. I likely won’t start any new DD1 projects, but anything in the pipeline now is getting done. Rest assured, I’m gonna mod that one too, and no, that doesn’t mean any of my DD1 stuff is cancelled. So as you may have heard… We’re getting another DD game. I’m sticking to 3 main goals because I’ve realized adding more just makes me spread myself too thin, as well as because CCCR itself is already the size of a small overhaul.
My expectation is 2-3 will be fully done and the other 3 will be relatively far along. Right now, 3/6 concepts are relatively far along, one commission was dropped and will be re-commissioned out, and 2 more were waiting on artist availability I should have all 6 in-progress or done by the end of March. Other Area Enemy Packs - I’ll plan to have all the art and animations commissioned out by end of March and post teasers here as they’re developed. Expect updates to the old parts, one new one, and possibly more depending on artist availability.ģ. CCCR - My other primary focus for March, I’ll be entirely revamping my trinket mod and finally giving it the attention it deserves. Once art and animations are done, she’ll go live.Ģ. The Silent - I intend to finish the Silent entirely (art notwithstanding) and put her into beta. You can find all of the above mods on my Workshop, here: ġ. Check the beta branch of DD if you want to play it early, but it should go live soon, long before MLD is playable. Modding lives on, unobstructed by a mod limit - large mods like MLD will now function just fine and I no longer have to cut features.

Optimization Patch - I saved perhaps the crowning achievement of my modding career for last we got the optimization patch.

Art should actually be done shortly and most of the code is finished, as this is much smaller than Silent.ĩ. Machine Herald - A class I’m working on with Solar, this is now also in alpha and moving along. MLD Enemy Concept Art - All of the concept art has now been posted to Patreon for all finished enemies, as well as some teasers of upcoming stuff - progress slowed a bit as everyone reacted to DD2 and the optimization patch, but things are still in the pipeline.Ĩ. Rest assured, this is finished, but I’m unable to deploy it just yet.ħ.

The Fool Update 1.6 (Final Update) - The update is coded and tested but I’m waiting on translations as, unlike with Librarian, not being able to understand the text makes her 100x harder to play. Currently localized for English and Spanish (other languages pending).Ħ. The Librarian Patch - The Librarian Optional Patch I made has been updated with a ton of new lore and quality-of-life fixes and is now final (aside from waiting on translations). Clair’s Collection of Curiosities Redone - A bunch of new trinkets have been designed and several theoretical fixes have been tested and confirmed to work.ĥ. The Silent - Silent has moved from concept stage to late alpha and is quickly moving along, having already gone through 4 major updates.Ĥ. The Banshee Miniboss - The other major achievement this month, Marvin and I released a miniboss and won the Red Hook Boss Contest!ģ. MLD Ruins Pack - The crowning achievement of the month, the Ruins Enemy Pack has been released and undergone 2 major updates so far, with more pending.Ģ.
